Ah-rum Choi, Marketing Manager at Dot: “My name is Ah-rum, I’m the Marketing and Sales Manager at Dot. Dot was established in 2015 and is located in Seoul, South Korea. We joined Orange Fab Asia in 2015, as well.

There are 285 million visually impaired people around the world. However, only 10% know how to read Braille. Through this technology, we’d like to change the figures and make an impact. As you’ll see, Braille dots pop out, there are touch sensors below and you can read all the messages.

After we joined Orange Fab Asia, we had the opportunity to participate in the Demo Day by Orange and meet potential partners.

This is Dot Mini, our next innovation. It’s an educational kit for visually impaired children. And this is Dot Pad, a multi-layered cell that can read maps and pictures like Kindle and Apple iPads. Our next innovation, and our final goal, is Smart City—not just for some people, but for all.”
