Zembro has developed a connected bracelet designed to offer freedom, independence and peace of mind to the elderly and people living alone. It enables loved ones to stay in touch through a mobile app.
Stylish, lightweight, waterproof and with a one-week battery life, the bracelet can geolocate its wearer anywhere in Europe. If there’s a problem, the wearer can press anywhere on the surface of the watch face for 4 seconds. This action automatically triggers an alarm on the smartphone of whoever is connected to it (several possible carers) or with the 24/7 Zembro alert service. The bracelet is equipped with a loudspeaker and microphone and also allows two-way communication when needed.
In parallel, the start-up has developed another wristband, the Zembro Plus, for people with dementia. It offers an additional “anti-wandering” function that triggers an alert as soon as the wearer leaves the home.
