Nanoé is a social initiative that aims to expand access to electricity while creating employment in developing countries.
To carry out this mission, Nanoé brings together technology and social entrepreneurship by:
- Developing “nano-network” technology comprised of small collective systems for producing solar electricity and capable of powering between four and six households
- Constructing an entrepreneurial platform to train local entrepreneurs in creating and operating these nano-networks
The first experiment began in early 2017, in Madagascar.
