Malaka bio and Wakisha are two domestic biofules made from organic waste and sold in the form of briquettes.
To facilitate the collection of ‘raw’ waste, a digital platform project is under development. Called E-Butshafu, it encourages companies that produce a lot of waste (restaurants, hotels etc) to recycle it.
A personalised bonus system is also under study: this would reduce the price of collection based on the volume and quality of waste provided by the company.
E-Butshafualso aims to become a marketplace dedicated to recycled products.
