NodOn

Range of devices for smart homes

Our goal is to open up access to digital home solutions for as many people as possible in order to build tomorrow's homes. For this, we have developed products that combine smart designs with affordable prices, available through retail distribution channels.

NodOn's innovative approach

NodOn has developed an extensive range of communicating devices such as switches, remote controls, smart plugs and smoke detectors or sensors, making it possible to interact with your home. Their strength lies in their interoperability: the startup's products use the most widely established technologies (Z-Wave, EnOcean, Bluetooth, etc.), ensuring their compatibility with most of the digital home solutions available on the market, including Orange Homelive.

NodOn's challenge: ramping up distribution

Following its promising launch, NodOn wanted to secure its commercial development. To broaden its target market, it was looking to join a widescale distribution network that would ensure optimum visibility and outlets for its products.

For Orange, the digital home market is a strategic sector. Our Homelive offer is constantly evolving in order to quickly adjust to our customers' needs. A solution like NodOn introduces really innovative uses supplementing the solutions developed by Orange.

Partnership

As part of its digital home offer Homelive, Orange is selling various NodOn connected devices, including the wireless, battery-free wall switch, which can be fitted wherever you want in your home. It makes it possible to control compatible devices either “live” or with preprogrammed scenarios.

Orange is thus capitalizing on NodOn's reliable products to guarantee the quality of its range of services, while NodOn is benefiting from a vast distribution network, helping it reach its target audience.

Outlook: continuing to grow

NodOn will continue to open up to the various communications technologies, with Bluetooth support introduced recently.

As another way of expanding its scope for action, the startup will continue to build its presence on retail distribution channels, establishing partnerships with both French and international firms. In particular, the startup is looking to conquer the Chinese and American markets, where demand for digital home solutions is very high.
